    Platinum is the highest tier in 3M's Select Partner program, above Gold, and is held by a small number of installers nationally. It gives access to premium ranges such as 3M Prestige and 3M Ultra Safety and Security, from a business assessed against 3M's own standards.

    When comparing quotes, ask whether the installer is an authorised 3M Select Partner and at what tier, whether the quote names the exact product, and whether the 3M warranty is included.

    What this means for you

    We are members of the Window Film Association of Australia and New Zealand and hold WFAANZ Architectural Window Film accreditation for flat glass. The training covers glass types and construction, film selection, thermal stress, coated and laminated glass, single and double glazing, and correct installation practice.

    The film with the best numbers on paper is not automatically right for every window. Glass type, pane size, existing coatings and orientation all affect whether a film is suitable.

    What this means for you

    WERS For Film is Australia's recognised energy rating program for window film. Eligible products are independently tested for how they affect a building's heating and cooling performance, so films can be compared on tested data rather than marketing claims.

    We can identify WERS-rated films, explain their energy performance, and issue a WERS For Film certificate where the product and installation qualify, which is useful for architects, builders and property professionals.

    A darker film controls glare but takes more light; reflective film gives daytime privacy that reverses at night once your lights are on.

    Platinum is the highest tier in 3M's Select Partner program, above Gold. It means we are authorised to supply and install eligible 3M architectural films, including premium ranges such as Prestige and Ultra Safety and Security, as genuine 3M product backed by the manufacturer warranty.

    What do WFAANZ and WERS accreditation mean for my project?

    WFAANZ flat glass accreditation covers glass types, film compatibility, thermal stress and correct installation practice, so the film suits your glass. WERS For Film accreditation means we can explain independently rated energy performance and issue a WERS For Film certificate where the product and installation qualify.

    Who installs the film?

    Senior, highly experienced technicians. Every installer is fully insured and backed by our workmanship warranty.

    How do you choose the right film for my windows?

    We look at glass type, orientation, existing coatings, pane size, exposure and what you want to fix, then compare films on heat, glare, light, privacy, appearance, glass compatibility and warranty. It is not the same film for every job.

    Do you only install 3M films?

    3M is our main premium range, but we will recommend another established manufacturer's film if it is a better fit for the job or the budget.
