Dichroic is 3M's colour-shifting architectural film — a translucent decorative finish that reflects one colour and transmits another. Move a metre to the side and the pane looks different; the light in the room changes with the sun.
Where FASARA sits in the frosted, etched and patterned category, Dichroic is 3M's answer for interiors chasing a signature colour effect — lobbies, boardrooms, hospitality fitouts and hotel interiors where designers want depth and movement without specifying custom laminated glass.
It's applied to the internal face of existing glazing, so there's no need to replace panels, disturb framing or push out construction timelines. Four colourways — Blaze, Chill, Cyan and Yellow — cover warm, cool, aquatic and high-impact briefs.
