3M™ Scotchshield™ Ultra S800 Window Film
Scotchshield Ultra S800 isn't a single sheet of polyester like a standard safety film. It's a multilayer construction — 42 alternating micro-layers bonded together using 3M's proprietary nanotechnology. That structure lets the film flex, stretch and absorb energy instead of tearing when the glass takes a hit.
The result: independently tested at up to 40 times more tear-resistant than a conventional safety film of the same 8-mil thickness. When someone tries to force entry through the glass, the film keeps the pane bonded and in the frame for far longer — buying critical seconds for alarms, occupants and responders.
