3M™ Sun Control Window Film — Prestige Exterior Series
Prestige Exterior is the outside-glass version of 3M's flagship Prestige film. It's non-metallised, so there's no risk of corrosion, no mirror-like reflection and no interference with Wi-Fi, mobile or GPS signals.
We recommend it any time your windows already have a Low-E coating on the inside face of the glass, or are double-glazed (IGUs). Applying a film internally in those situations either negates the Low-E benefits or leaves most of the heat trapped in the gas cavity between the two panes.
Installed externally, Prestige Exterior stops solar heat before it ever reaches the glass — dramatically improving comfort, cutting cooling loads and blocking 99.9% of UV to protect your floors, joinery and furnishings.
