3M™ Sun Control Window Film, Prestige Exterior Series
Prestige Exterior is the outside-glass version of 3M's flagship Prestige film. It's non-metallised, so there's no risk of corrosion, no mirror-like reflection and no interference with Wi-Fi, mobile or GPS signals.
We recommend it any time your windows already have a Low-E coating on the inside face of the glass, or are double-glazed (IGUs). Applying a film internally in those situations either negates the Low-E benefits or leaves most of the heat trapped in the gas cavity between the two panes.
Installed externally, Prestige Exterior stops solar heat before it ever reaches the glass, dramatically improving comfort, cutting cooling loads and blocking 99.9% of UV to protect your floors, joinery and furnishings.

When Prestige Exterior is the right call
- Your windows have a Low-E coating on the inside face of the glass
