Will Window Tinting Affect My WiFi, Mobile Signal or TV Reception?

**Short answer: no, not with the film we install.** Older or cheaper window films rely on a metallised (foil-like) layer to reflect heat, and metal is what interferes with WiFi, mobile signal, and TV reception — because RF signals can't pass through a conductive metal layer.

The 3M film ranges we install use non-metallised, dyed and ceramic technology instead of a metal layer. That means you get the heat rejection and UV protection without the signal drop-out. Your WiFi, phone reception, Bluetooth, and TV/radio reception all work exactly as they did before installation.
